City Church Kids Need You

In case you missed the Stories of God At Work this past Sunday, meet Liz Aleman. Six months after she started attending City Church, she began volunteering in the nursery to care for infants and enable parents to attend worship. She loved the chance it gave her to meet families, know kids' names, and grow her own sense of belonging to this intergenerational church community. Years later, Liz' friend asked her to consider serving as a greeter in the children's ministry, which now gives her rich opportunities to revisit the foundation of her faith, engage spiritual questions, and share God's love with kids.

We are planning improvements to our children's ministry and hope to see it grow. You can help NOW! With 150 kids each Sunday, we need more than 40 adults to make Sundays happen. We are currently looking for teachers, greeters, and aides. If you cannot commit to a Sunday morning--there are other opportunities like Parents' Night Out, Spring Picnic, VBS, and more.
