As a church for others, and not just for ourselves, City Church desires to be a place where all children encounter Jesus in ways that will shape their understanding and experience of His grace for the rest of their lives. We understand the challenges of parenting in the urban context and are committed to supporting and equipping parents in the sacred role that has been entrusted into their care.

Our Goals:

• To affirm the uniqueness & giftedness of each child as created in the image of God and created for relationship with God. The good news of the Christian faith helps children grow to know who they are and to understand that their belonging, security and identity are rooted in the work of Christ.

• To create a community of significant, lasting relationships with children, teachers, and families that would highlight the active presence of Jesus in the lives of His people.

• To nurture an understanding of Christianity by motivating with grace, not guilt. They recognize that true transformation is an inside-out process, holding that Jesus came to heal the brokenness that entered our world and our lives.
