Loving and Serving Our Neighbors

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads the prisoners with singing - Psalms 68:5-6

Throughout scripture we read of God's loving compassion for those who are oppressed and suffering. In the gospels we see this love lived out through Christ's life, as he welcomed outcasts, healed the sick, fed the hungry, and preached good news to the poor. To know God is to know his love and compassion for our neighbors in need.

The goal of City Hope is to love and serve our neighbors in their time of need. By accomplishing this goal City Church will be an agent of healing to the deep wounds of San Francisco.
