Dan hails from the cultural mecca of Richland, Washington and is a graduate of Washington State University (degrees in Social Science, History and Secondary Education) and Fuller Theological Seminary (M. Div). Prior to serving at City Church Dan taught high school, served on staff with Young Life and Menlo Park Presbyterian Church with young adult ministry. He has been on staff at City Church as the Director of Student Ministries since 2007. Dan married his wife Kimberly in May of 2009.
