Easter Triduum
The Triduum (pronounced "tree do 'em") is the ancient three-day celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus - Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Saturday Easter Vigil. We will meet to worship on those three days to remember all that Jesus has done for us.

Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 21 | Meal Begins at 6:30 PM | Worship begins at 7 PM | Sutter St
This is the service where we remember Jesus' last night with his disciples. He washed their feet and gave them the new commandment to "love one another even as I have loved you."  'Maundy' comes from the Latin word for 'mandate' referring to Jesus' new mandate to "love one another."  Just as Jesus shared a last supper with his disciples on this night, we will share in a simple meal of bread and soup together and then share in the Lord's supper. Childcare is provided for ages 0-3.

Good Friday
Friday, April 22 | 12 - 1 PM | Sutter St | Auditorium
Good Friday is an old way of saying 'God's Friday,' the day of Jesus' death on the cross. During this meditative worship service we will remember and reflect on the crucifixion, using Scripture, prayer, song, and images to guide us along the "Way of the Cross".

Childcare is provided for ages 0-3.

Easter Vigil
Saturday, April 23 | 5 PM | Sutter St | Auditorium
At this evening candlelight service, we will hear scripture readings that record the history of Redemption from Genesis to the Gospels. Then, as was the practice of the early church, we will celebrate the sacrament of holy baptism and share in Holy Communion. There will be a dessert reception following the service to celebrate Easter, and to welcome the new members into our church family.

Childcare is provided for ages 0-3 and there will be programming for ages 4 - 5th grade. They will join you in the service and then be dismissed, but we encourage you to invite your children to be a part of the entire service.
