Melisa was born and raised in the San Francisco bay area and loves living here. She and Darren were married in 1994 and have one son. In 1998 they ran their own coffee shop for three years and enjoyed meeting all the great people they called their customers. Melisa studied computer programming at Heald College and graduated from there in 1986. She's currently back in college working on a BA. In 1989, Melisa felt the pull toward working in ministry in some way and she's been fortunate to be able to do that continuously since 1991. She started working at City Church in 2007 as the administrative assistant and loves having a front row seat to see and experience what God is doing.
