V grew up in Union City and she's thrilled to be back in the Bay Area. After graduating from MIT in 2000 with a degree in Mathematics and earning her Masters in Education from UMass Boston, V became a high school math (and occasionally science) teacher. In July 2010, V was fortunate enough to marry Charlie Kehoe, and she joined the staff of City Church in August 2010 as the Family Ministries Associate. When V is not working, she's usually cooking something you've never heard of, reading a social science book that she never got around to in college, playing a board game that takes 20 minutes to explain, or square dancing. And in case you were wondering, V is short for Bavani.
