Rev. Jay Wilson

Director of Pastoral Care, Pastoral Director of Counseling Center

Jay grew up in the Central Florida area and is a graduate of the University of Florida (degree in Finance) and Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv and MA degrees). Jay has a heart for walking with those who experience brokenness in their life, difficulty in relationships, and patterns or habits they would like to change. Jay believes that change is possible and the way to change is not to try and manage our symptoms, but to look below the surface and address the deeper wounds of our story. Jay believes that we are complex individuals and therefore it is imperative to attend to the whole person and understand our internal world and how it shows up in our relationships. Self-awareness of our internal world and how we have learned to navigate relationships and the world is the type of work that leads to more freedom and lasting change in a person’s life.

Jay and his bride Debbie have been married for seventeen years and have three boys. When Jay is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.
