We Need You!

Our partnership with the San Francisco/Marin Food Bank, delivering groceries to homebound seniors and those with disabilities in the Tenderloin, is exponentially growing each week! We began delivering to nine individuals in December and the number has now grown to 36. We have a small team of volunteers, led by Dennis Domantay and Bethany Gaudet, who are serving each week, but we are in desperate need of more volunteer support as this ministry continues to grow.

The word is out in the neighborhood that City Hope is providing this service and more individuals are signing up each week. It has been a wonderful way to get more folks through the doors of the Community Center as well, as the leftover grocery items from the Food Bank are free for the taking each Tuesday.
