Lent Daily Prayer

Read John 10:17-18 17For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father.” Pray Today, thank Jesus for being a Savior who chooses to go into death and back out again for us. Ask God to help you come close to Jesus and learn to love him more during Lent.

Lent Daily Prayer

Read John 10:16 16I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. Pray Pray for everyone who hasn’t heard Jesus calling their name. Pray that all people will find rest and peace and life in God’s love.

Lent Daily Prayer

Read John 10:9-10 9I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Pray Pray for yourself and for all people: that we would find Jesus as the source of unending, abundant life and rest.

Lent Daily Prayer

Read John 10:3-4 3The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. Pray Ask Jesus to teach us to hear his voice during Lent. Thank him for calling us by name, and ask him to help us follow him as he leads us.

What does love look like under pressure? In Matthew 11, Jesus tells the gathered crowd to learn from him, “for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Did ...
